Okay, for those who don't know, the Cooking for Amateurs crew loves food, but also video games. Actually, hopefully in about 20 minutes, I will have LittleBigPlanet for the PS3 IN MY HANDS! Now, the subject of this post is Proposition Pluto, the project of (I'm assuming) some guys at Media Molecule, the makers of LBP. It's the project of "Sackboy" and "LittleBigPlanet" to reinstate Pluto as a real planet in the solar system. Go to the link and sign the petition, and let's make a difference!

Kudos to you and to Sackboy and LittleBigPlanet for supporting Pluto's planet status! The vote that demoted Pluto was done by only four percent of the International Astronomical Union, most of whom are not planetary scientists, in violation of their own bylaws. It was immediately opposed by a petition of an equal number of professional astronomers led by Dr. Alan Stern, Principal Investigator of NASA's New Horizons mission to Pluto. I admit I'm not up to date on the video game scene and don't own a PS3. I may have to go out and buy one though, since this game is supporting Pluto's cause! :)
