How to Solve a Rubik's Cube

Want to learn how to solve a Rubik's Cube? Sure you do! So watch Lucas and the Cameraman teach you how to solve this confuzzling cube! I feel like it came out really well, and I feel like it goes a lot slower than other Rubik's videos on Youtube, to help with understanding for beginners. If you have ANY questions AT ALL, please feel free, no, obliged, to email us (cookingforamateurs@gmail.com) or comment/pm me (Fuzzman1014) on Youtube. And thanks to Kirby, who was our official first emailer! And he told us we were the bomb diggity :) Also, thanks to Jason, Karen, and Mike, who visited our site linked from Linkreferral.com and wrote reviews of our site. Karen suggested that we embed the videos in the post, but each video is 3 (this one's 4) parts long, and it takes forever to embed them, if they do at all. (EDIT: BUT, starting with the next CFA, we will be putting up a picture of the final product with the post announcing the upload) But here are the links. Enjoy, and then you can brag to your friends!

Episode 9!

Episode 9 is actually here! Yay! This week, LE&N are making molasses cookies! And they were good. So go watch that through the link. Thanks to Shirl (J) 831 for the recipe from Recipezaar, which is in a link as well. Please email us - cookingforamateurs@gmail.com, with recipes, comments, and questions! Visit here often for more updates! My computer imploded, and there is no music this week, or pictures, we just start with the show. Hopefully, by next episode, my computer will have un-imploded and the musics will be back.

SORRY!

SORRY! We have not uploaded the show! I have had so much homework (2 debates, long study guide, tests, exams, etc.), but the show will be uploaded on Tuesday, possibly even Monday (tomorrow). We will be filming the show tomorrow, and it won't be Halloween-y. :( We do say so on the show, but it will not be, sorry.

LBP Review

Hey guys, I just posted the LBP review on Youtube, so go watch that! The servers went up, and we recorded, and now, a day late (sorry), we have it up! We had a bunch of fun trick-or-treating, and Eli got the most candy! Also, I read the recipe for our cooking show, and we actually had to chill something for 3 hours, and after 3 hours, it was too late. So, we're doing it immediately tomorrow morning, and the show will hopefully be up tomorrow by early afternoon.

The Last Day

Alright, today's the day before the launch of the first episode of CFAGR (CFA Game Reviews) and the 9th episode of CFA. Also, we will hopefully be starting a new blog thing - LBP levels. We'll be picking a new level (user levels, of course) every Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday, and posting about it. Finally, of course every Thursday, when the PlayStation Store updates, we'll post about that. This week, I believe the demos will be Mirror's Edge and EndWar, and I'll be posting about those IF THE STUPID PS STORE EVER UPDATES! It's already 6:00! Anyway, keep your eyes peeled for that.

Updates!

Okay, so I have a few new updates. Hopefully, from now on, there will be one CFA AND one (newly titled) CFA Game Review (I think I'll call it the CFAGR) each week. This will probably be too much, and so the reviews will be probably only once every two weeks. But we'll try! This week, CFA is a Halloween sweet and the LBP review, which is now complete, WILL be posted on Friday! One last note, both CFA, the CFA Game Review, and any other shows we ever make, will be about a half hour long. Finally, CFA will continue to be posted on Sunday (possibly Monday), and the CFAGR will be posted probably every Friday (possibly Saturday).

Fallout 3 and CFA Hint

I got Fallout 3! Obviously, skip to the next paragraph if you cannot play mature games. It's crazy! I haven't been able to play that much, because, if you watch CFA, I have two small brothers who cannot play these kind of games. But it is awesome, and so far, it is a must own, but I will post again tomorrow with a little more detail. Perhaps, there will be a review of it on Youtube, but I don't know, because I'm the only one that can do it. So, it might be a solo review, and thus, sorta boring :)

Now, for the family friendly section! Very shortly, Cooking for Amateurs Episode 9 will be up Friday (hopefully) along with the LBP review. One more hint as to the identity of the recipe on CFA, it will be sweet! That's right, a dessert! So plan your meals accordingly.

CFA+LBP Video Dates

Yes, it has been confirmed! The 9th episode of Cooking for Amateurs will be released on HALLOWEEN! It will, of course, be Halloween-y. Also, hopefully by Friday (probably at the same time), the LittleBigPlanet video review will be posted as well. I'll give you a hint - it's AWESOME. Be watching!

LITTLEBIGPLANET!

Taking another break from cooking for some video games... LittleBigPlanet is AWESOME! I got it about 6 hours ago, and guess what I've been doing since? That's right, I've been doing homework! Ha! No, I did that before I got it (all 10 hours of it). But, it's awesome. I'm playing co-op with my great little sous chef, Eli. We're even going to work on a custom CFA level, which will be released some time in the first quarter of never. Seriously, we really stink at making levels. And so how is making nonsense levels so fun? I dunno, it just is. But it's gonna get even better tomorrow, when it's officially released (I got the game a day before the "official" release, when they'll be opening the LBP servers user level downloads), and I can download the levels that other people make that are actually good! Maybe I'll hire someone to make a level for us. Oh well. Anyway, if you own a PS3, it's a must-buy, so go get it NOW! And on a short note of cooking, the next episode may be up Wednesday or Thursday (maybe Friday because it's Halloween), and the recipe will be Halloween related, so be watching. I also *might* record a LBP review for Youtube, but definitely not until the user levels start popping up, so watch for that too.

Proposition Pluto

Okay, for those who don't know, the Cooking for Amateurs crew loves food, but also video games. Actually, hopefully in about 20 minutes, I will have LittleBigPlanet for the PS3 IN MY HANDS! Now, the subject of this post is Proposition Pluto, the project of (I'm assuming) some guys at Media Molecule, the makers of LBP. It's the project of "Sackboy" and "LittleBigPlanet" to reinstate Pluto as a real planet in the solar system. Go to the link and sign the petition, and let's make a difference!

Episode 8

Hello, viewers! Episode 8 is now (and by that I mean a week ago - sorry for the delay, I forgot) up on Youtube, and it's a very special episode! That's right - it's Lucas' birthday episode, and we made apple cake! So go watch! And, we are growing! Thank you so much to Tangledbara and garganchuafugly for your very nice messages. Tangledbara posted a comment on the riceball episode which was insanely awesome, and the other guy whose name I can't type again sent me a pm on Youtube about how he loved the lemon squares, AND he favorited the episode! THANK YOU! But we still don't have emails! Email us at cookingforamateurs@gmail.com with questions, comments, and ESPECIALLY recipes for us to make!

Portland Trip Up!

A special Cooking for Amateurs (without cooking) is now up on Youtube! As a celebration of my (Lucas) birthday, my family took a vacation to Portland, Oregon. We got a hotel, ate at restaurants, went to Powell's Books, visited good ol' Mt. St. Helens. Check it out now!

New Site!

Welcome to the new site! If you're new to Cooking for Amateurs, it's a show where we (Lucas, Eli, Nate, and sometimes the Cameraman) make a new simple recipe every week. So start watching!
