Yes! Two years ago today, July 31st, 2008, we got the team together and decided to make a cooking show! Suddenly, we've gone from making quesadillas and snickerdoodles to making potato salad and a quiche! What a change! Three more episodes will be put up today to celebrate the day history was made! Fun fact: when discussing what to name the show, we actually considered "Cooking for Dummies". We've been discussing the future of Cooking for Amateurs, and I think we've come to a good decision. Starting this summer (probably next week - school ends on Tuesday the 22nd), we will be releasing an episode of CFA every week. Saturdays will be for filming, Sundays will be for uploading. Then, starting in the fall, episodes will be uploaded one or two Sundays per month, depending on the work load at school. In the meantime, follow the blog and the Twitter (@cooking4amateur) for the latest info. And our other big announcement - we'll be cutting down the length of our show for a more accessible and entertaining viewing, probably down to 15 minutes. This means that you won't have to sit and watch us stirring something for 5 minutes, it will be cut down to the start of the stirring and the end of the stirring. We're also trying to branch out into some savory foods for amateurs, instead of all sweet. Keep an eye out for our return episode, coming probably next Sunday (or within a couple days after). That was quite a break! And I bet you're wondering why. Well, with my new computer, our old editing software was a complete FAIL on Vista. So, a few days ago, we finally got some new software, and now we will continue to post episodes. HOWEVER. For those who don't know, I (Lucas) am in AP European History, famous in our school for being one of the hardest classes you will ever take. In the beginning of May, we have to take an AP exam, a fully standardized test spanning the whole year, including multiple choice and three essays. Cooking for Amateurs has just received a Flip Video camera in the mail. From what I've seen so far, this camera is way better than the old one. It holds the same amount of time, but I think it compresses each video a bit. And of course, the quality jumped from pixel-y junk to crystal clear high quality video. The CFA trailer was just released on Youtube (see post below), so search for Fuzzman1014, and watch it! E&amp;amp;N ditched me for the library, so we have to wait for them to return to film the next show. But we will film it today, and it will hopefully be up tonight. And the BIGGEST news - I now have a computer! It was just built two days ago, and it is great - it actually runs the latest games perfectly! So I made the new theme song - it's pretty much the same, but a little more funky, and it is in the trailer! Hopefully, from now on, there will be one CFA AND one (newly titled) CFA Game Review (I think I'll call it the CFAGR) each week. This will probably be too much, and so the reviews will be probably only once every two weeks. But we'll try! This week, CFA is a Halloween sweet and the LBP review, which is now complete, WILL be posted on Friday! Obviously, skip to the next paragraph if you cannot play mature games. It's crazy! I haven't been able to play that much, because, if you watch CFA, I have two small brothers who cannot play these kind of games. But it is awesome, and so far, it is a must own, but I will post again tomorrow with a little more detail. Perhaps, there will be a review of it on Youtube, but I don't know, because I'm the only one that can do it. So, it might be a solo review, and thus, sorta boring :)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Now, for the family friendly section! LittleBigPlanet is AWESOME! I got it about 6 hours ago, and guess what I've been doing since? That's right, I've been doing homework! Ha! No, I did that before I got it (all 10 hours of it). But, it's awesome. I'm playing co-op with my great little sous chef, Eli. We're even going to work on a custom CFA level, which will be released some time in the first quarter of never. Seriously, we really stink at making levels. And so how is making nonsense levels so fun? I dunno, it just is. But it's gonna get even better tomorrow, when it's officially released (I got the game a day before the "official" release, when they'll be opening the LBP servers user level downloads), and I can download the levels that other people make that are actually good! Maybe I'll hire someone to make a level for us. Oh well. Anyway, if you own a PS3, it's a must-buy, so go get it NOW! And on a short note of cooking, the next episode may be up Wednesday or Thursday (maybe Friday because it's Halloween), and the recipe will be Halloween related, so be watching.
